Introduction |
With a total length of 2,333 m, this 6-person ropeway connects the Mitake Highlands with Mt. Ontake’s 7th station. The uppermost station, at an elevation of 2,150 m, provides panoramic views of the Central Alps including Mt. Kisokomagatake in addition to other well-known peaks such as Mt. Norikura, Mt. Hotakadake, Mt. Yarigatake, Mt. Yatsugatake, and Mt. Asama. It is also a great way to experience the coming and going of the seasons, from spring to fall, expressed in the beautiful scenery. |

Introduction |
The upper reaches of the Nishino River thread between steep rock walls in what is known as the Saruhashi (Monkey Bridge) Gorge. Fall in the Saruhashi Ravine brings superb red and yellow foliage that shines on the water’s surface. The best time for viewing is in mid-October. |

Introduction |
The waterfall’s name means “immutable” and has its origin in the fall’s ‘unchanging appearance’ since ancient times. It is surrounded by many trees, honoring its waters by hiding them away. In the waterfall’s periphery, you can see another kind of ’waterfall’ as Komorebi (sunlight) cascades through the surrounding trees. |

Introduction |
Spread at the foot of Mt. Ontake, the Aburagibirin Forest was once protected as the sacred trees of the Owari clan. Through this lush forest of massive 300-year-old trees, a walking trail has been established. The path passes the Hyakken and Fueki falls, continuing as far as the 7th Station on Mt. Ontake. You can enjoy activities such as bird watching while simply experiencing the green of the forest, fed by the clear waters nurtured on Mt. Ontake. |

Introduction |
Taiyo-no-oka Park is a theme park built around the topic of extended history, from the birth of the solar system and planet Earth to the origin of life. The park consists of three zones, ‘primitive earth’, ‘the hill of the sun’, and ‘the transition of creatures’ representing the evolution of life on this planet up to the current day using, for example, megaliths from Mt. Ontake. |
